KNOW YOUR VOTER BILL OF RIGHTS
The right to a provisional ballot.
If a voter shows up at the polls, but his name is not on the registered voters list for that precinct, but he declares that he is a registered voter in that precinct, he will be allowed to cast a provisional ballots.
Provisional ballots are votes that have some problem. The ballot will not be counted until problem has been researched. If the research shows the voter was eligible to vote, his provisional ballot will be counted.
